Swiss-born Monique Hendricks, a longtime painter of abstracts, discovered a passion for figurative art in 2013 that compelled her to turn professional. A member of the Art League of the Chathams and the Contemporary Art Group in Watchung, she exhibits regularly throughout New Jersey. Monique holds masters in Media & Communications and Marriage & Family Therapy; she currently blogs on culture, communication and the arts (www.crossculturaltidings.com).
