The Library of Chatham offers a workshop led by Maia Kumari Gilman, local architect and ALC member. The workshop  “Building Better World through Architecture” is suitable for children 11 years old and up.

The children will learn how to transform their world by designing and building a three-dimensional model. They will also explore how architecture can create efficient communities with good flow.  Those interested in a career in architecture will have a tangible model to start their portfolio!  The models created in this workshop will be  shared in an exhibition at the library at the end of the program.

When: Wednesdays, July 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 4-6pm. Attendance at all 4 classes required.  Registration opens Wednesday, June 28. Please, register with the Chatham Library.
